MG Midget J2542 1933. Swept wing model having hydraulic brakes replacing the original cable type; new wiring loom incorporating front and rear indicators; an oil filter conversion kit and radiator fan. The engine has just been totally rebuilt including new crankshaft, con rods, pistons, rockers, all valves, all bearings including white metal, rebored, pressure tested and many other new parts. New battery. Invoices retained to show work done. Less than 200 miles covered since rebuild. In addition all 5 wheels have been refurbished, spokes correctly tensioned and wheels balanced, including new spinners and 5 new tyres. Body work is in overall fine condition with a few minor blemishes. Underside very good. Interior finished in red with aluminium dash and all usual dials etc. A small black tonneau covers the rear parcel area housing the hood and side windows. A lovely usable J2, based in Cornwall, UK.
