For Sale as part of the deceased owner’s collection of Triple M MGs. A 1932 MG J Type Midget Chassis No J2790 MMM Register No 1096. Purchased by the owner in 2019 as a going concern, this tidy original cycle winged J2 has been modified from standard to include hydraulic brakes. The only other obvious modification is the Adamant steering column and box instead of the original Marles Weller steering. The bonnet has recently been replaced and requires finishing and painting. The original engine number (1502 AJ) is no longer with the car and has been replaced with a converted Morris block. The car is in good overall condition; however, the mechanical condition of the drive train is unknown but has some obvious oil leakage from the vertical drive which requires attention. The J2 has been dry stored where it has had little use due to the owner’s ill health. It is being sold by the widow of the deceased owner.
