MG KN 4 door pillarless saloon. UK number plate AVB 124. Chassis No. KN0389. One of 201 4 door pillarless saloons built, about 12 left in the world, KN0389 is the only one in North America. A rare opportunity to own a very unique MG. I bought this car in 2009, it was complete and all numbers matching but in need of a full restoration. This was carried out 2010 to 2014 in Canada. The restoration was complete including chassis, body, engine (original numbered block included but was replaced with a new block), rear axle with new shafts and hubs, interior trim in original type materials and colours, sliding sunroof, electrics, steering, chrome, new MWS tyres and 60 spoke heavy duty wheels. In fact everything needed. The dynamo is 2 brush. The car has done few miles and is in excellent condition and drives well. It has its original Registration number and is well known to North American Triple-M members. Its early provenance is little known but came to California in about 1968 and thus was saved from yet another recreation. Recent use curtailed by Covid but have done a number NAMMMR events and won prizes. KN is very comfortable and roomy for large drivers. Reluctant sale due to old age and recent medical condition.
