Dan, we have a few F owners here in the US, as well. Malcolm A. and Mickey S. are good. You can find the info in the NAMMMR directory.

As always , thanks for the help and interests . I've posted pictures previously of what I believe to be a mmm f type motor . I received help to Id the motor from other mmm forum members and I am grateful for that .
The motor is missing an oil sump and valve cover so my first question is what do the proper oil sump and valve cover look like .
Ultimately , I'd like to find a proper home for the motor and find out more what car it came out of.

I think the first thing to do is post photos and tell us the engine number.
The possibilities are limited. I believe the early Wolseley hornet engines were similar.
Another clue will be the casting date, it is somewhere on the block.
