Those who happen to look at this sort of thing on ITV will have seen on "The Durrells" what appears to be a PA in red with reg number CSU 421 (not on my oldish register) Looked OK but must have been shipped to Corfu specially as CSU looks like a UK reissue number.

The Registration number CSU 421 is not in the 2016 printed Register.

I think the SU numbers are issued by the DVLA as age related e.g some MGs re-imported from the USA have SU numbers allocated to them.
