One (or 2) threaded fastener(s) needed. Cast type with MG motif in octagon head preferred, as in photo below.

Austin Repro makes 2 types. Bonnet catches and front apron catches.

Thanks Jorgen....Austin Repro look good and are similar price to Sports and Vintage...but I only need the female fastener and hoping somebody will have a `spare' lying around their garage and I can avoid a major investment!

Hi Tom,
the knob on yours in the picture looks more like a cam cover screw down knob from P/N/L/K rather than the M-type one......is that the bit you need?

Hi Barry.....you probably know better than I, and it would make sense to multitask some of the MG fasteners. I guess the thread is the critical aspect. Happy to give it a try.
