All,
I have a copy of the history files for PA0603, which has a
Lot of correspondence with the works.
I think this was done a number of years ago, and wondered if they had a better phot copier now as some letters etc are quite dark.
I didn't know whether to apply again for a better reproduced set?
Any thoughts,

Ben, are these copies of papers in the factory files or some other type of record.
Copies of papers on the factory files are available from Kimber House - contact Chris Kynoch on 01235 849731. There is a nominal charge - a bit more for non-members!

These are factory files. I have a set, quite a bit of reading, but some of the copies are not great. I wondered if they now had a better copier? The ones I have were supplied to the previous owner about 12 years ago.

The file for PA0603 contains far more paperwork than is usually found, for example some contain just the guarantee card.
Is the file so large because to car had a competition history or was it because there was a lot of work carried out by the factory such as claims under warranty?

A lot of work was carried out on the car, including being supercharged. It seemed to have every extra that you could fit onto it! Its beloved the first owner used the car for testing oil when he worked for shell, but there is no real hard evidence for this. There is a lot of correspondence with the factory. I would love to read the letters from the then owner!
I know it was often at Brooklands, but we don't know if competing or not. It's certainly where the second owner first saw it and wanted it!
