Bruce,
Good call, I thought that as well...
contacted Taff to no avail... Took several tries and once successful he explained that he had none.

Hi Brian, I have attached photos for your information, could this one be what you are looking for? It is 12V, tested and working. With a little work, the chroming may come up ok? Angie King 01949 860519

Dear Andy,
Thank you for pictures of the Altette horn you have. The horn shown according to Taff is the 1949/1950 HF 1234 or 1235. I am searching for a original HF 934. Currently the car came with a ceramic coated body Altette Vincent 1000 Cast Iron body horn. The proper one is pressed steel according to Taff.
Kindly,

Now after looking carefully over Taff site I see my Altette is a Vincent 1000 form.
Someone in past fitted as replacement for the original lost somewhere along the way... so I have a really nice Vincent Altette.....

Hi Brian, As promised, initial search has located the attached. Not sure on voltage. Sounds on 12V - perhaps Nick Feakes can inform us if damage could be caused by putting 12V through a 6V horn? The previous horn we pictured before has now found a good home in Somerset! Angie

Provided you are not prone to extended sounding of the horn, I think it would be OK. Nick |
