Vintage and Classic Shock Absorbers had the high ratio cw&ps in stock when I last checked. They were made by Guest Gears so are good quality, but your casing and/or axle tube may need fettling to clear. I certainly had to grind a bit out of my steel casing when I fitted one to my J3.

Glad you still enjoyed the event; what a wonderful collection of Abingdon's finest.

Roger Furneaux (Mad Metrics) also advertises new 4.875 ratio c.w.& p. sets (8/39) suitable for F, D, J & Ps although whether these are 6 bolt or 8 bolt fittings, I don't know. Roger supplies a lot of c.w.& p sets to T Register Racers and they don't mess about.

I have ordered a crown wheel & pinion from Graham Brown from vintage shockabsorbers he has various ratios drilled for 6 or 8 bolt fixings so I should soon be mobile and ready for Scotland next year thanks for your help Terry W.
