Dear Forum:
I am planning a driving tour to Ireland next May 2018. The usual list of museums, whiskey distillery's, and archaeology. One car and one driver-very exclusive company.
Would like members personnel experiences and suggestions for classic car friendly hotels and B and b's . Dublin, Londonderry( stroke city) and others. Walking distance to evening distractions a bonus. All the best.

John,
If you are planning on bringing an M.G. then the Ulster Centre's Golden Jubilee Tour from 20 to 24 May might be just what you're looking for. You can find out more details from our latest Ulster Centre MaGazine which can be found here - https://1drv.ms/f/s!AuXbEglE-QFZhdFnZRg-Vhj0Xx38Cw

Simon,
Thank-you for your email/suggestion. Will look into Ulster Tour. It could fit into my plans. The Ulster connection is very important part of the MG story.
The Dublin, Newgrange and archaeology as a going home loop. So, a few ideas for this part of the trip please. I can't be the only classic car owner to face the car park puzzle. All the best.

John,
Last year we did a 1200 mile loop around S Ireland in my PA. Wexford, Kerry, Connemara, Dublin, Wexford. I have the road book on PDF and happy to pass it on if of use? All the hotels were secure and car friendly. If it's just the North that appeals then I believe the 2016 MMM Ulster Tour was based in the Dunadry Hotel just north of Belfast.

John,
Tim is correct - we used the Dunadry Hotel for the Ulster Triple-M Tour and it was very good. You can find our Road Book (which will give you the routes we used along the Antrim Coast Road and the Causeway Coast) here - https://1drv.ms/b/s!AuXbEglE-QFZhPFZTcXTt5Zq8vdsrg
