I would lend you my Winter Tyres / wheels Mark, but I don't think they fit your car. They've got me through far worse conditions (in Germany / Luxembourg) than are forecast for the weekend

This weather is certainly funny stuff! The Saturday/Sunday forecasts appear to have swapped places, so if we are to believe it, we may see a bit of snow on Saturday until lunchtime whereas on Sunday we shall be enjoying a balmy 2° and no precipitation. But what do I know?

Bad luck for team Painter and the Kayne Special. Mech misfortune in practice.

He didn't do 3 laps to qualify so rushed off To race control to see if he could run tomorrow out of session. I was told it was electrics but don't quote me. Graham |

Problem turned out to be a detached feed wire at the plc switchAnd yes he will be allowed to race tomorrow, starting at the back of the grid.

The further down the grid the greater the overtaking opportunities

He finished 10th (commentors switched race nr and finish place ;) ) Not less impressive as he must have done a superb job gaining 21 places! Sadly non of his moves where shown on the live stream so I hope he made some footage of his own.
Full race results here showing him in front of the austin special ;) http://www.tsl-timing.com/event/181165/session/rc1bol

A terrific drive, lapping 1:46’s!! By all accounts some of the toughest driving conditions he will ever experience! Great event

Nor should we forget the Richard Bolster Special of Paul Baker and the Austin-MG LA Special of Nick Powell, both of which have OHC MG engines. The Austin has an L type engine and looked tremendous, being about the height of a Brooklands Riley but with attractive bodywork. I am not sure which six cylinder is in the Richard Bolster car, it is listed as 1318cc. Unfortunately neither of them finished.
