I thought we were well provided for but the pre-war Alfa guys really have it good - http://www.triplembyjswl.com
But at what price, I wonder, does a complete, new 2300C engine and gearbox come at? And where does one go to get the new chassis to fit it to?

Jim Stokes workshops in Eastleigh are something else I have visited and seen around the workshops they can make anything. Apart from the Alfa bits they restore or will do anything on all sorts, they had several things like MGBs, Triumph Heralds, and several 50's racing cars, connaught, Cooper etc. All I had done was some stitching on my little M type block and a very good job they did. Whilst I was there they had an Alfa sent from America to compete at last year's Goodwood Members meeting and the blower was knackered, so they made a new one, just like that. I watched some of the operations. Mind blowing.
