Here's what "raw tubs" look like from the driver's seat of a TC! First really nice spring day here so I followed the truck delivering ash logs just cut down in my backyard to the mill for cutting and drying.
Over the next couple years they will turn into an L1, J2s, PAs, and PB tubs!

Tom: You are fortunate not to encounter the problem a craftsman at Morgan once related: their ash came from Belgium and they regularly lost saw blades to bullets and shrapnel.

Tom, Did you plant these trees yourself, or just buy the right property ?.
Just wondering how many years it takes to grow that size American Ash ?.
We are here for a good time, not a long time !. |

One tree counted at 120 years old, the second at 140 years. Not being one of the Dúnedain, I didn't plant them. They came from the woods in the back of our house. Ash trees in the USA are rapidly dying, victims of the Emerald Ash Borer. We started having our ash trees treated several years ago, but these are two that were oddly missed. Shame, they were beautiful trees. But now they will be beautiful tubs and furniture
