I am trying to establish the original colour of PA 1124. It seems to be a dark green based on the remaining paint but it has certainly been repainted at some point. Can you give me pointers as to where to look? Thanks JohnW
Peter, thanks for that information. It throws me off course a little since I had assumed it was green - that what is listed in the continuation log book, and I didn't find much evidence of black on the remaining bits of body panel. I will have to look a bit harder and think again about my final colour scheme.
What else do the factory records show? Are they viewable or easily consulted. Can I check whether I have the original engine and gearbox (although I have had to change the gearbox since too many parts were missing).
