Nick. I can see the MGCC Members area, but when I click on it, it won't let me in.
Is there something else I should do ?
Regards,

Thanks for all the support following today’s 1st corner incident at Donington.
Happy to say everyone is fine, just a number of bent cars.
It was a wonderful weekend and I m sure we will all be back out soon.

Huge sympathies to all the cars and drivers involved or affected by the first corner incident at Donington this afternoon.
Cars currently hors de combat in varying degrees are: Wolseley Hornet (driver John Seber) Q type of Michael Bystrom (driver Barry Foster) PB of Mark Dolton PA of Hamish McNinch C-type of Barry Foster (driver Adrian Moore) NB of Chris Smith
Happily the worst personal injuries were, we think, confined to a (relatively) minor cut and several cases of bruising and strains. Here's wishing everyone a quick recovery - though many of the cars will need more time....
The race was re-started after a prolonged interval and it is to the great credit of all the 13 drivers who escaped the incident that they took part in the resumed race with undiminished competitiveness.
You can see all the stats of the race at https://www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=MGCC/2018/182853mmm.pdf

Thanks Dick.... Q and self back home... car came off worse than I did but seem to be developing bruises in various places that I won,t detail........ very sad but glad we all walked away... Michael B... owner of Q ... very understanding and says I am not to blame ... still feel I am.... but car will get sorted back to good form... being selfish as posting so late in the wanted section... beat all the others after stuff to fix our cars! Thanks to all for help and sympathy........bet Potts is rather glad his cam key gave up as he would have been in the middle of it all.... such is the way of things... see you all soon FOZ |

Best of luck with the rebuild Foz and hope the bruises are not too sore.......sorry I do'nt have any N (or Q!) front axles, only little midget spares here I am afraid.
Best wishes from Emma and I to all the guys now involved in car stripping and mechanical rebuilds. I suspect that there will be a few stripped down to bare chassis. Not anticipated work but the good news is that you all walked away without hurting yourselves....
Good to see all the gang again having missed a few events, great Sat. night BBQ, lunch etc. thanks to Annie and the team !!
In the period of a few missed events people seem to be getting quicker !!! This is unacceptable as I now need to get quicker to keep up...(You know who you are, Mark R....)

Hi Mark, Foz and all
Pleased to note that everyone is ok and that there is a really good spirit with regards to repairing the cars.
If N type front axles are hard to find would a T type one serve as a temporary fix?
Is the Rat damaged as well?
