Hi George, Thanks for your reply. There is no backup in Cyprus, and less any interest. The scrapyards here are full of juicy restoration projects, but difficult to even think about getting any out because of the strict regulations on any items considered ' antique ' ie, even from the 1950s. I consider myself ' lucky ' to have even got one chassis out, let alone two, even thought it has been a challenge, the help of a Cypriot friend, corruptable officials and a desire to get the projects ' home ' allows me to overcome these obstacles. Angela Bird ( the owner ) assisted with the negotiations with the Cypriot export authorities, otherwise they would have had to remain here in Cyprus.
