I'm sorry to bring the sad news that Bob Richards died on Thursday 21st June. Bob had been unwell for some time with a condition known as autonomic neuropathy which had kept him in hospital since February.

Most of us will remember Bob as our stalwart Bulletin Editor from 2012/13 until Digby Gibbs took over from him in 2015. Bob was instrumental in starting the transformation of the publication into what you see today.

Thoughts and regrets go to his widow and family.

Bob's son Gerry informs us as follows:

Details of Bob's funeral.
Cheadle Methodist Church
Chapel St, Cheadle, Staffordshire
ST10 1DU

Tuesday 10th July at 2pm followed by committal at St Chad's, Freehay (for those who wish to come) and then refreshments back at the Methodist Church (hall) later on.

If anyone would like to be in touch with the family please contact me.

Thank you.

He will be missed. As noted by Dick our thoughts and regrets go to Bob’s widow and family.

Very sad. I am so out of touch now that I did not know Bob was unwell. We owe him a great debt of gratitude for his skills in editing and improving the Bulletin. His efforts added significantly to the positive but stark contrast between the excellent publication now and the old "Infoletters" (for those who remember them!).

May I add my condolences to his family'
