Does anyone know what the thread is on the top of a Rotax dynamo? It's the end with the drive fork, it's quite a coarse thread.

Hi Paul,
3/8" bsf on M,J, and P not sure about the 6 cylinder cars.

Garry, it never looked like BSF but it was..ran a 7/16 BSF dienut down it at it fitted!! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction..
PS, my spare DDS does have a 3/8 BSF thread on it though.
