This is probably a big ask but has anybody got any Salonette sunroof slide rails as per photographs. They are approx 2ft long (somebody must have scrapped an old salonette body at sometime)

Hello Chris,

Not Salonette, but would this channel be of interest?






Base width 0.730" (18.54mm)

Slot width 0.454" (11.53mm)

Side 0.650" (16.52mm)


It's a de-chromed. annealed and straightened outer section of the rear door window frame from a BIG Mark 7 (8 or 9) Jaguar Salon.

Hi Colin thanks for your reply unfortunately the section you have is too big,the size of my damaged one is 5/8 wide x 3/8 deep x 16swg.The one i have shown in photo has too many splits/cracks to silver solder up it would distort with the heat plus it is just over 1 inch short.Thanks for looking.Chris.
