I called in to see Greg this morning. I have known him for many years, he is a good friend of Rovers ( he has a 1935 Humber project which is similar ). He does not wish to have his details announced.
As a compromise I have agreed to act as a sort of ' go between '...this was agreed by Greg.
He is very busy with his garage business and also has been looking after his father who has cancer. His lead time at present is a year on current semaphore projects, his comment with MG owners was and I quote ' MG owners are nearly all old and retired, they want everything yesterday and I got fed up with it, I much prefer to carry on as I am '
So I suggest if you wish me to pass on any emails or letters on your behalf, I will, that was the compromise ! I am doing this only as a favour, if there are any rules or objections that do not allow this compromise.... now is the time to say.

It is very strange. I have lived in or close to Brighton for over eighty years and I have never come across Greg Davies before. Mind you, if his main interest is Rover and Humber cars, that is not surprising really.

Colin, Rover and Humber are not his main interest, just that he prefers to deal with the owners of them. Greg does deal with some selected MG folk.
