I am looking for an L type flywheel housing to get my 42 years dry stored old barn find back on the road and in as found condition! The one which came with the car is very badly damaged and too poorly welded for reuse. Can anyone kindly help me with this time piece??

I have an N/P type one to exchange if this helps

Hello Richard,

With my L came a bell housing which I did not use.
If you provide the measurements that make th difference between P and L i would be able to tell you that i have one for you or not. It also has some slight damage if i remember well.
I have to take it out of the boxes if you are intrested and make photo.

Many thanks for the reply.

The main difference is that the L type has the starter motor mounting face set further back. I will measure the relative distance on the N/P one as can't remember if it is flush or not.

Will also need to know the extent of damage. If anyone has a perfect one, then even better!
