I'm in need of one or two trafficator arms for SF 34.
Is anyone out there who can help me?
Thank You in advance!

Dear Otto,

I have a pair of restored fully functioning SF 38 Trafficator's which will be excess to my needs as I am fitting original SF 24's on the car.
They were done by Barry Walker in the 1970's and came with the car. Contact me if interested.

Kindly,

Brian W Sullivan

Hello Brian.
The trafficators You show are not SF38 but SF24 aren't they?
If the shown trafficators are for sale I'm interested, otherwise not.
Thank You for Your trouble.

Hello Otto,

The shown trafficator's are SF34 N and not SF38's I errantly noted. Note the marking on the steel. Evidently made August 1949 and indeed I am offering you these exact ones.

A note; SF24 are original to P-type not SF34
SF24's are very rare hard to find!

BW back in the 1970's could not find them and sold these to be used in leu of SF24's for which none were available back then.

Here are pictured the very elusive SF28's original to Austin Ruby & SF24's as original to P & N type

SF28 note different housing and arm is slightly different though almost same as SF24

SF24 These are the real maccoy for P & N, Hens Teeth....

Kindly,

Brian W Sullivan

Hi Otto,

I am restoring a set of SF24's now will share a couple pictures too.

Making interior electrical parts that were missing, re-casting from epoxy.

Here they are opened out

This shows the missing bits I needed. The "cap" for the junction box was missing on one.

Here is the silicon mold I made works a charm! great detail

Here is the new cap pulled from the mold ready to be cleaned up for use on the other trafficator. Note the nice transfer of lettering "Type SF 24"

Best,

Brian W Sullivan

Hi Brian,
I gess You are the one who grabed the 24 from George Eagle? I got the others from him. They are SF34. But the arms are not at their best. So I got 2 NOS from Cyprus. But the escutcheons and boxes are for SF24 (I got them from Donald McLeod). That's my dilemma. May be the 34N fit the 24 escutcheons and boxes?
Nevertheless what's Your asking price?
Best regards
