I am in need of a single brake shoe for a J2 having damaged one while relining the brakes. Does anyone have one lying about which they would be willing to let go?

Just a point on the 8 inch alloy brake shoes. Several years ago I had one suffer from corrosion due to the copper rivets reacting with the alloy. I have since had the linings bonded on. This also gives a little more braking area.

I had a set bonded on. Every single one has fallen off! Possibly just badly done but now I stick to riveting.

Many appreciations to Duncan Potter who helped me out on this one and to all others who offered their words of wisdom. Thank heavens for this forum, I would be struggling without it.
