Ian, Interestingly there is a tenuous connection between you and the owner of 3308 in that according to the 1982 Register it belonged to a Flt. Lt. I grace. His address was the Officers Mess at RAF St. Mawgen, Cornwall. |

Well that's me, but I have no recollection of this car! Perhaps my purchase fell through? |

Ah, I'm guessing that this must have been the chassis I picked up from Terry Bone at Steyning. That would have been in the 1982 timeframe, but I don't think I kept it for long.
My recollection is that it turned out to be a Minor chassis, but I couldn't swear to it now and I don't want to wake up any sleeping dogs! |

Due to Ian's personal situation, he decided to not go ahead with the acquisition. Based on my conversation with Ian and the fact that 2M1281 was put back on sale by the current owner, I have agreed to purchase the car. I expect to be closing the sale in the next week and will be travelling to Georgia (USA) to collect it soon. All this was made possible by having sold my PB Airline Coupe which is now on its way to the new owner in Japan.

That's right. There's a lot going on in this neck of the woods right now, some hopefully very good but not possible to make public yet. Thought it wiser to pass on the M and it is going to an excellent home. Well done Lew! |
