A friend of mine paid Phoenix 1,000 GBP exactly 30 weeks ago for a PB crank and 4 rods. He has had no response following 4 e-mails and 5 phone calls. Anyone know what is going on?
I have today spoken to the new owner of Phoenix Crankshafts and he tells me that they are now answering the phone (as opposed to there being an answerphone message) but at present due to the restructuring that is going on they would prefer contact is made via e-mail at;- phoenixcrankshafts@gmail.com.
I ordered the MG PB crankshaft and conn rods first week January with 33% deposit. No response whatsoever from PHOENIX until this week. They now say end of the year delivery. I always understood this outfit made superior products. Any advice please on alternative suppliers?
Douglas 7071 Baynton Jones Historic Motorsport advertise Crankshafts, Con Rods etc for MMM Cars, ; sales@baynton-jones.co.uk I have used them for years and found them excellent in all things MMM.
When I rebuilt my NB I bought a new crankshaft and rods from Allen's who were based in Slough. I have an idea this firm might have ceased trading? Peter Green will probably know?
The L2 is fitted with Phoenix crankshaft and rods, they are of very good quality.
When I rebuilt my old NB I fitted new crankshaft and rods from Allen Engineering who were based in Slough. I think they may have gone out of business - Peter Green may know?
I fitted a Phoenix crankshaft and rods in the L2, the workmanship is of a high standard.
