I am trying to obtain a copy of 'A Practical Guide to the Restoration of the J Type'. The author is G. Howell. I have tried to contact him at an address in Swindon of SN58NF, but he no longer lives there. Can somebody point me in the right direction to obtain a copy, or indeed have a spare one?

Yes, try the MG Octagon Car Club - it was/is still on their spares lists for sale under books.They have a website.

Thank you for that information. I have been in touch with the Octagon Car Club and have ordered a copy. By the way, you are relatively local to me, as I am in Cirencester.
