There is a copy of The Motor magazine for sale on EBay at the moment for the 23rd of December, 1930. The front cover shows an MG Company advertisement for the M type which is a fabulous colour illustration, very evocative and typical of the 1930s .
No connection, well worth a look !

Chris is quite correct - for some reason the iPad won’t save images of items for sale on eBay so you have to use the screen shot as a workaround

Here is another copy of the cover shot, taken from the (old) Prewar Minot Network website. (it might be of a little better quality than the eBay version.
