I have an original ( I think ) poster of the " The M.G. Magna-Open Four- Seater, L-Type -299 ex works" showing 9 different views. Poster is black and white, 26" high x 32 " wide. I have removed it from the frame and intend to get several copies made for my friends. Anybody else want copies? Copies will be cheap, mailing will be the greatest expense.

Hi L1 people, Well, just as I suspected, the the printing cost for a 26" x 32" poster quality copy is between $20 and $25.00 Cdn each copy based on interest shown so far for about 15 copies. This can be reduced way down if I shrink the poster to say, 12" x 15" , then cost is as little as $2.00 each. Now the postage is silly money, Canada Post say $70.00 to send a tube 26" long to the UK, $75.00 to Oz or NZ. Postage to send a 12" x 15" copy will be much less.
So, the question is, are people still interested in the L1 Poster, 4 seater, 9 views, at $100 each including mailing??
Or, is there interest in a small reduced size 12" x 15" size, no idea yet on postage. If interested, please email me directly to:
grunau.garage@sympatico.ca.
Thanks, Bob, Canada

Sensible idea for postage would be to obtain a large enough tube to post all the UK posters to one individual in the UK [and obviously the same for the US and others] Then the recipients in each country can make their own distribution arrangements.
This must rduce the shipping costs considerably.

Hi Tony, I agree. Yes. so looking for a UK volunteer, maybe an Oz/NZ volunteer? I can certainly wrap many posters into one cardboard tube and the per piece mailing will be greatly reduced. Tony, you may recall, I drove your M Type on a wet/cold rally when you where in the USA many years ago, great little car.

Well, that was a long time ago.
The 1st MMM Raid to Farmington in 1991
I never did remember who got the drive - sadly never got any pics of that rally.
Do remember it was wet, however
Best wishes
Tony

I have a friend going to NZ and OZ next week, Auckland, Queenston, Picton, etc in NZ, then 2 April to Oz, Sydney, Brisbane etc. He will carry a tube or two of L1 prints down under. So, how can we arrange transfer to interested owners? I think it best to reduce the print size slightly to 24" x 29.5" just to get down to a 24" mailing tube. So please. email me DIRECTLY to " grunau.garage@sympatico.ca " so I can send the prints down under. Thanks, Bob Canada
