I noticed from the link to the MGs in Japan that mention is made of the death, at 94, last weekend of Kjell Qvale who was the importer of MGs into the USA.
Kjell had his K3 restored by the MG works and re-bodied with a new pointed tail style body. The car was previously fitted with the very attractive Jensen body which was transferred to an original but un-numbered factory K2/K3 chassis. This K2 survives but has not been seen for a long time
The K3 is chassis K3025 which was featured in Safety Fast Volume 2 number 4 of May 1960. Apparently this issue is now very rare as Kjell purchased quite a few to distribute amongst his many friends. It certainly took me ages to find an original copy!
