In the listing of models the word 'type' is added after each one (apart from 'Musketeers').

Is this correct? Surely only the monosyllabic models, such as the M Type, were referred to as 'Types'? One might refer to a P Type, but surely not a PA Type or a J2 Type? Why not call them Midgets, Magnas or Magnettes rather than Types?

Simon,In the hand written factory records of F Magna chassis numbers and body styles they refer to F2 type,F3 type and so on.I guess the use of the word type comes from the factory.Tim.
