Can I find out the present whereabouts of NB engine number 1109 AN. This is the engine originally fitted to my car and I'd like to recover it if possible. I have a block to swap if required.

Just noticed this. I would email John Inness at Club HQ. He looks after the chassis files, otherwise George Eagle is I think the registrar for the 6 cylinder cars and should know what engine is in what car...

However, not all engines are in cars, there are quite a few tucked away under benches...

John Innes no longer works at the MGCC.

The MGCC will not be able to help on this matter as the chassis files will only show the original engine number of a car which is not what Chris wants.

This is a long long shot .
Put a general request on the forum for information on the block it's the last option.
Dates and background information might jog the gray cells Worth a email.

Noting that John Inness is no longer at the MGCC, who is the contact now for obtaining data from Triple-M chassis files please?

Hello Alan

I believe Chris Kynoch is the person at Kimber House to contact about obtaining copies of any papers on the Works chassis files.
