I can confirm, after much deliberation, that I have now set the date for this years Summer Gathering, it is Sunday 9th July. The format will be the same as previous years and there will again be a 'Bring and Buy' stall after its success last year.
Entry Forms will be available to download from the Document Download section of this website shortly.

Today's Register Summer Gathering was indeed a fabulous occasion. A record number of 135 names on the list and a dazzling array of cars of all shapes and sizes.
One particular highlight was the MGCC's awarding of the Club's exclusive "Marque of Friendship award" to Peter Green for his exceptional contribution to the Club and the Register over so many years. Director George Wilder and Club Chairman Ian Quarrington presided over the proceedings.
The only thing that was missing was singing "for he's a jolly good fellow", which for sure he is!

I regret I was unable to attend - the first time I have missed a Summer Gathering.
Congratulations Peter on a well earned award, you have contributed a huge amount to the Triple- M fraternity of over many years.

Is something missing from this topic ? The main index shows that Dick Morbey posted something (no doubt of great importsnce) on the 11th but the last item to appear on my screen is Chris Dancey's photo of Elisabeth, Peter and Dick dated the 10th. What is the missing posting ?

Congratulations on the award, well deserved.
I well remember the warm hospitality of Team Green when my wife and I attended The Summer Gathering while visiting from Down Under in 2013.
I'm looking forward to seeing images of some of the cars from this year's Gathering - anyone? |

Hi Colin, You'll see from the bottom of his posting that Dick edited it on the 11th, hence it comes up as though he had posted again.
