Ok Olly, I didn't know they did them to fit our triple-M's, I thought they were for the T-types ... that's to say if there is any difference? Didn't the Collingburns used to do them too?

The TC uses the same mat at the Triple-M cars.

The same rubber matt was used up to and including TC, TD and TF had a smaller one without the logo. I have no idea exactly when they came in or what early cars like an M-Type had, not that it matters now. You can only use what is widely available. Tom Metcalf and my father believe that originally they were actually Grey not Black so none of them are like original.

There is no difference, the mats with the MG logo on can be used on any car from he earliest up to and including TC. They are correct for most if not all common MMM 2 to 4 seaters. M-Types and early cars may have had ribbed rubber sewn on or nothing at all.
