Colin/All

I am in touch with representatives of the seller. We already know that the car has a BMC 1098 engine and drive train and hydraulic brakes.

More info later, hopefully.

Dick, yes, we know that. My intention was to get more information published on eBay, so that anyone bidding purely on the eBay description would be better informed.

Just received this reply from seller filmmartina: "I'm just checking on this info and will come back to you on Monday." Not exactly knowledgeable of what s/he is selling.

Update:
Here is the reply from filmmartina, "I've heard back from the man who looks after our car and can confirm that we haven’t modified the brakes, they are all round hydraulic brakes. The Gearbox is a Mowog gearbox and the engine is a Mini type A series." My emphasis!

Following further correspondence between us, I'm pleased to see that the seller has now updated the advert to show these modifications.

Caveat emptor.
