 PA 1024 a look into the engine

Finally after a long wait...

I am told that this Friday my specialist will update me and let me know what parts are good and not. They are doing what is known here as Magna flux, or crack testing all parts. Also I understand they will be doing a pressure test on the block. So crossing fingers and will report the findings and ask for help as needed.

Good news.
The block seems sound though the soft plug did wheeze a bit.
The specialist thinks the block is fine to continue the work. Now for crack test results on the rest of the parts.
For some unknown reason the interior of the water jackets was painted ? I think the green engine paint means the engine was formerly in a tourer. Will be painted proper engine red when done though sadly we can not import the lead base engine paint available there.
