What would be recommended oils for Flushing, Running in and regular use for an MG PB?

Thanks
Richard

Richard,

If you use the search facility and tick the archived posts option you'll find plenty on this topic. Here's one for starters

For what it's worth (not much, probably!) I have just switched from Castrol GTX 15/40 to Valvolene VR1 20/50. Pressure which was not bad anyway is marginally better especially when hot and the rotating bits at the front of the engine seem quieter

I also use Valvoline Racing VR1 20/50 oil in the L2 which is supercharged.

The engine certainly runs very smoothly and quietly with little mechanical noise.
