As far as I have researched, most of the available repros of Lucas L140 headlights come with a shell in chrome finish.
Can anybody indicate a source for these headlamps with shells in primer finish (and chrome rim) ? |

Christian, I have a pair of repro Rotax J2 headlamps which have chromed bezels and plain brass shell with mesh screens fitted, if that would be suitable.

If Christian does not want them may I ask for them please?
I prefer them to the Lucas ones for the F Type and will then have a pair of good L140s going spare for Christian...

No problem, Currently in Cyprus, we are talking about the standard size J2 lamps ? I am asking £1000-00 plus postage ( to calculate when I return back in the UK on the 10th June )for the pair, I paid a good bit more, they are as new and still as packed by Austin Reproductions, I have now sourced an original pair of Rotax lamps for my J2 which is pretty much original.....or collection from Brighton if you are near after the 10th.

Yes, they should be Rotax K624's with the special flat glass with tiny hemispheres as diffusers.
