I am probably being even more dim than usual - which is saying something - but when an owner rang me this morning to ask how he could apply to join the Forum (and thereby make postings to the Forum), I could not find a mechanism on this website which would enable him to do so.
The best I could suggest was that he should e-mail webmaster Nick Feakes, asking to be join the system, which I am sure he will do, but I am sure there is a simpler and better method. I have a distant memory that the answer lies via the \register database\register your car route, but I could not make that work.
Can anyone help please?

Ahh! So I was being dim!! Nick, perhaps it could be reworded 'Register for the Forum' - or similar?
(Perhaps this thread should be renamed 'A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum...'  )
