Well done, Mark for organising a fabulous weekend. There was great competition, camaraderie and bonhomie throughout and you and all the participants should be congratulated on your enthusiastic commitment for this ever growing opportunity for our cars.
There was so much to admire: the out and out competitiveness of the drivers; mechanical problem solving and mutual help whenever the need arose; and the opportunity to see interesting display cars including the reborn Potter C type and Jeremy Hawke's ex-Bannell single seat record breaking J type.

Awesome weekend whatever your level of involvement. The largest MG grid of the w/e & I even got to lay spanners on C Type & Q Type. Just as surprising, I bumped into someone I hadn't seen for 40 of years (& I'm supposed to be one of the young ones....). |

Yes, brilliant day but b****y cold. Sorry that we couldn't stay for the Prize Giving, but I was expecting a two hour journey home in the open PA with the rain hissing down. In fact, the rain was only light and whilst the w/wipers were going most of the time, it was a good and at times brisk run to the South Coast. Brilliant day and brilliant little car. Thanks to all who made it such a good day.

Well deserved Mary Harris win. John campaigns the ex Bira car all over the world. Can anyone tell me how the handicap is worked out ? |
