This car was rebuilt and sold by the late Peter Gregory and was subsequently raced by the new owner.

I seem to recall the car had to be repaired following a racing accident?

As Mark has noted the asking price has come down. It looks a nice car with a good spec.

But it is still 2 1/2 to 3 times the value of a regular PB. Does its race history really justify that ?

I doubt it, price more about trying to recover the huge restoration spend.
