I am looking for a J2 gearbox bellhousing in order to make progress on my restoration.

A Ford bellhousing and adaptor plate were once fixed to the J2 gearbox. I am hopeful that I will be able to use the original gearbox suitably restored.

PS I have more or less copied a recent successful 'Parts Wanted' ad almost word for word telling much the same story. I cannot improve on perfection and I must credit Chris Hill with the original wording.

I believe many Wolseley's had the same bell-housing. These would likely be the easiest to find.

Sam. I believe that new P and N gearbox bellhousings are available from James Gunn. Either steel or alloy, according to your preference.
