Fantastic news!
After the last handicap I thought they would never let Team M.G. have another go ;)
Seems you guys did a top job, congrats!

Well done John and Roger - looks as if the Wolseley Hornet was third?

Yes, congratulations to all the Triple-M drivers, an excellent days motorsport, just a shame our content was a bit depleted. It brought a wry smile to my face when the, otherwise knowledgeable, commentators described Andy King's car on the grid as a Cream Cracker 'look' MG.

Well said Terry!
We have found on occasions that the race commentators are not as fully briefed or knowledgeable as they might be and I know that we have a plan to ensure that they are better informed on future occasions about the cars and drivers.

Congratulations on a great result

I would not say our entries were depleted though. All except one entry made it to Cadwell, and only one of those suffered mechanical problems resulting in only taking part in qualifying. We just had less cars entered for the event

"... we just had less cars entered for the event".

Yes, Colin, that's the point I was making. Compared to the same event last year, when we had the wonderful sight of Triple-Ms swarming everywhere, it was/felt a bit depleted. Still very enjoyable though.

Last year on the Saturday before the VSCC Event was a MGCC race day with a Triple-M grid. So a full weekend for the MMM guys. This year just a one day VSCC there for us. I guess combining this with holiday season for some with a long long drive for many could be why the entries were less than last year. :)

I must make sure I'm at home on leave for that (or retired...)

Colin, et al,
I was the one missing... both my drives removed by the Donington Incident... and I know at least one substitution by the generosity of another Triple-M owner got a replacement car to Cadwell for the unfortunate driver/owner involved in the incident.
Thanks to Adrian Moore the Rat will be out at Mallory but Dorothy (aka QA0255) is a complete bare chassis strip... too much damage to correct for a quick fix. I am still upset for her owner who is being very understanding about the damage....

Hi Barry
Great to hear that The Rat is soon back out again and I hope any bruises etc have gone now
We are very lucky that the Triple-M racing group so proactively helps each other. The loan of the car for Cadwell is a good example of that
All the best Barry
