Mike Holifield has been very lucky in finding some pictures, dated 1937, of his NA including the attached.
The question Mike has raised is what is the nature of that fitment to the right of the steering wheel? A period radio?
The car was owned by a member of the Royal Marines which may account for the flags on the front?
There are other photos taken of the car in 1937 which have been posted to the file for the car. How lucky to find such a treasure trove and I do like that spotlight!
The car was owned by the late Terry Andrews who noted the NB doors were factory fitted.

Inside every older person is a younger person – wondering what the hell happened.
Follow Link for more pictures of period radios. Gives better pictures and sense of sizes. The control unit would fit. The speakers are huge! and the aerial is another issue. http://www.classicaccessories.org/cgi-bin/items.cgi?q=39
