I am looking for a K type rear shock absorber cross bracket - there are two , one in front of the diff and one behind it. I have the one with the bracket cut out for the drive shaft so I need the one behind the rear axle.
I will try to post pictures latter.
As always,
thanks
Dan

Hello, Dan.

Just to say that if you need to make this part I could help with measurements etc if required.

With regard to the foremost cross member bracket ( shock absorber mounting bracket bracing bar ) I think the consensus is to omit this part as some people deem four shock absorbers for the rear axle ( as per K3 ) to be excessive. Other owners may disagree !

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks for the response . I’m trying to get ahold of Walter by emailing via the forum . Chris thanks for the advice and will do more research . However if I can find the part , I’d purchase and put in the shelf to sort out latter .
Just in case , above is what I’m looking for but without the cutout and hopefully with the angles for each end.
Thanks
Dan
