Does anyone know if the car is still extant?
Such a great provenance!

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Badger owned a T type, the car in the picture is a T type and would be either a TA or TB?

I like the passenger!

I have just found out that the car was up for auction 2015? at 80,000GBP.
Looks like a beautiful restoration.
But where is the car now.

The Bonham's advert says that their car has the original dumb iron and tested by a metallurgist (no less) as correct for the Bader car. What else is original would appear to be open to serious question.

The dumb iron would make it eligible for the MMM register. I am not sure it would be sufficient for a court of law though.

Dear N.D. Willey and Forum:

John James did a very well research article on this topic,
see link below.
Car was withdrawn form auction and not been heard of since.
All the best.

Is that a radiator mascot in the first photo?

Matthew.

Matthew and Forum:

Photo a little vague.
How about a old school temperature gauge ?
As illustrated in link.

He was, but for the work he did post-war to help the disabled. Wikipedia: "Bader campaigned for the disabled and in the Queen's Birthday Honours 1976 was appointed a Knight Bachelor "for services to disabled people"."

Malcolm and Forum:

Not surprising in the air he was a maverick.
Lucky to have survived the war. After the war he did a lot of good for
what was a very overlooked group of people.
Strange how some people have two very different sides to there personality.
All the best.

Re. the radiator cap, looking at the photo and another on t'internet showing the same scene from a different angle, I'm pretty sure it's a mascot. My guess is a swooping bird (appropriate), possibly a swallow.
