At last I think I have managed to post the picture of Sir Douglas Bader with his J2 !

Whatever became of the TA which began this thread? Were the facts ever established?

I know this is not an MG but out of interest, Bader changed his allegiance to this Alvis TC21 in 1954. This was his first one and he then owned a TD21 followed by a TE21 dropheaad. I met the owner of both at Goodwood a few years ago - he was a collector of all things Bader.
