I’m starting the restoration of L 2073. The car has been dismantled and roughly stored in a farm shed for the past 60 years.
Many components have gone missing. Those that are obvious to me at this early stage are :
Radiator and surround. Door handles and mechanism Windscreen and supports. The complete firewall is missing, with attachments. Pedal assembly with rod and brackets Central lubrication system complete.
I shall be in England in July. It might be a good opportunity to pay for anything that might be available. And collect ! Thanks in anticipation.
I note you will be in the UK in July, hopefully you might be here on Sunday 7th, the date for the Triple-M Gathering which is so well organised by Peter Green and family.
It would be great to be able to attend the Summer Gathering ! I did not know when it would be held. I’ve entered for Shelsley about that time . I shall have to check on the dates. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be in touch Rod.
