This has probably been linked to before - https://youtu.be/ieF3d_YBUh4 - but worth a look if you haven’t seen it. It’s an early/mid thirties film of Morris car production with some nice gems - diamond finished pistons, anyone? This screen capture is of a two bearing crank being forged!

Thanks for posting, Simon, a great piece of period documentation. I particularly like the idea of taking someone straight off the production line to do the commentary

Poor chappie had no idea what would lie ahead for that simple little crankshaft.

Seems like a great opportunity for a caption contest.
