Likewise, my colleague John Cole (who is the 18-month old lad in SC9559 at the top of this thread) would love to find out where it is now, and who owns it.

I know Alex Peacop [presumably son of Jim] is running an M-type - as I have just supplied him with some spokes for an event this weekend.

Yes the car was in the Mouldsworth Museum with Jim Peacop and the pictures were taken in 2002 when I was doing work for the subsequent 'Hawke History of Competition cars', and is 2BM2267.
The car was originally owned by a John Hendrie, whom I think was a solicitor in the Glasgow area.
It was rebuilt on the 1970s by Terry Dickie and has been raced and hill climbed since then.
The Mouldsworth Museum was sold up a few years ago, but I think that the car is still with James and his so Alex. Alex now has another M type in which he competes in VSCC hill climbs.
