As promised , a possible way of mounting a bike on an MMM.
I did not bother to apply and do up all the straps but just resting in place, one can tell that it would be quiet secure. It is a bike mount that I used on a LandRover 110 spare wheel. I would not recommend overloading it as it depends on the spare wheel mountings to take the weight and affects the cars weight distribution being well behind the rear wheels.
Perhaps it could double up to carry a limited amount of luggage?
Here's a bike rack on a more "modern" MG - TC0273. I made a pair of brackets that fit on the rear chassis rails utilizing existing chassis holes. 5 minutes to put it on or remove it. Photos taken at The Story Inn in southern Indiana. Tom Wilson
